MSW MPH Spring 2014 graduates present capstone projects at the College of Public Health Poster Day

Katherine Binkow (May ’14) presented her poster titled ”Hospice and Palliative Care:  What are the Preferred Communication Channels for Older Adults Seeking Information About End-of-Life Decision Making?” and Leah Klein (May ’14) presented her poster titled “An Intervention Mapping Project for Rape Crisis and Sexual Assault Services” at the College of Public Health Poster Day.  The Poster Day is a required component of their MPH coursework and presents their MPH capstone projects.

Both Ms. Binkow and Ms. Klein will be graduating this May.  Both are utilizing a combination of their social work and public health skills in their employment settings; Ms. Binkow is employed as a Social Worker at Calvin Court, Presbyterian Homes of Georgia, where she recently completed an integrated social work and public health field placement.  Ms. Klein is employed as the Volunteer Coordinator at the Rape Crisis Center in August, Georgia.
