Alethea Chiappone, MSW, MPH, CPH (Dec '13)

Alethea Chiappone, MSW, MPH, CPH (Dec ‘13) has been accepted into the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s PhD in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention program.  Ms. Chiappone will be working closely with the Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition in Omaha.  More details about the program and her assistantship will be forthcoming.

Since graduating with her dual MSW/MPH in December 2013, Ms. Chiappone has held positions as a Research Professional at the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute of Government where she provided statewide evaluation training and technical assistance for an alcohol use prevention project and as Evaluations Manager at HEARTS for Families, a non-profit organization that provides tools, training and education to support parents, families and communities.  Ms. Chiappone is also Certified in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
